US-based sporting goods maker Nike Inc said yesterday that it had asked the International Labour Organisation (ILO) to research two mass faintings at a Cambodian production facility.

More than 100 workers at Nike supplier Sabrina garment factory in Kampong Speu province in central Cambodia fainted April 4 with about 200 employees following suit two days later, according to local reports. The UN agency would “send in a team today” and Nike expected to receive a report next week, Nike spokesman Ryan Greenwood said yesterday.
