Chevron Malaysia Provides New Image For Caltex Service Stations

SUNGAI PETANI, Aug 11 (Bernama) -- Chevron Malaysia Limited, which operates the Caltex brand, is undertaking efforts to provide a fresh new image for its service stations throughout Peninsular Malaysia.

Its Marketing Support Manager Chevron for Malaysia/Singapore/Cambodia, Faizah Abdul Samad said via the initiative, aspects such as cleanliness, safety and efficiency would be enhanced at the stations.

He said the plan is to refurbish 60 service stations this year after having done so at 25 others with the rest to follow over the next few years.

"The reimaging is being done using materials which can be easily cleaned with energy savings. We have also made changes to the signage, the position of the logo and use of better lighting," she told reporters after presenting prizes to winners of a contest organised by the 92 Caltex service stations in Penang, Kedah and Perlis here last night.

She said Caltex has 429 service stations throughout the Peninsula, including the six opened earlier this year.

Nine more service stations will be opened in 2011.
