Fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra on Saturday afternoon phoned in to talk to the children joining the Children’s Day celebration at a hotel in Chiang Mai, telling them that they should not listen to political story as it’s a fish story.
The event was held by the red-shirt people group in the province.
Thaksin said children should listen to their parents but do not believe in political story as it involves mostly with untrue thing.
“The current government is also a liar and thus children should not listen to it”, Thaksin said.
He suggested children acquire information on the issue they like to know from internet in stead.
He said the children must use their brains to fight against the existing injustice.
