Thousands of Cambodians have greeted the return of former king Norodom Sihanouk, who has been out of the country for a year receiving cancer treatment in China.
The former monarch and his wife arrived in the north-western province of Siem Reap, where they were mey by their son, reigning King Norodom Sihamoni, and a range of senior government officials.
Thousands of people lined the streets to watch the royal motorcade pass by.A royal spokesman says the former king is now in good health, but will return to Beijing later this year for a check up.
